Kellie will be giving a reading at the Humanities Honors Program 2010 reunion on Saturday, September 25th, at 1:30 P.M. in the MLK library at SJSU. Kellie was in the program for her first two years of college and credits it with much of her inspiration and groundwork for her writing.

Kellie has teamed up with Arjan Heslinga and Jerry Wolfman Duff Sellers to bring a short script she wrote to life on film. Shooting will take place in Los Angeles in early September. The trio hope that the film will make the rounds in the festivals, so watch for "American IRA" at a film festival near you!

Yesterday, Kellie graduated from SJSU with her MFA in Creative Writing (Fiction and Screenwriting). Having been in school since she was two, finally finishing school was quite the bittersweet occassion. She looks forward to what new adventures the future may bring!

Check out this kick ass dramatization of Daughters of the Wind made by April Vickers using Ajla Kopcic's art for the graphic novel. The video was shown before Kellie accepted the Best in Festival Screenwriting Award at BEA 2010. Link below!
